Transportation Options
Seating on all transportation options is guaranteed until August 30th. All transportation options include the transport of your bicycle to the final destination. 
 

Before the Ride
Raleigh-Durham to Start Town (Oct 4): $100 - Cycle North Carolina offers riders the option to leave their vehicle in Raleigh-Durham (an additional $25 parking fee is required to leave your vehicle) and take a bus to the start of the ride. All bikes will be loaded on a CNC Bike Transport Truck and taken to the start of the ride. The bus will leave Raleigh-Durham at 10am on Saturday, October 5. Check in will begin at 9am. Travel time typically ranges from 3 to 4 hours.

3-day Western Bus
End of Western Option to Start Town (Oct 7): $100 - This transportation option is primarily for those participating in the 3-day Western Option. This option provides you with the ability to leave your vehicle at the long term parking location in the start town (an additional $15 parking fee is required to leave your vehicle), ride your bike for three days and then hop on a bus back to your vehicle. This bus will depart on Tuesday at 5:00pm with bus loading beginning 30 minutes prior to departure. The estimated travel time is typically between 2.5 to 3 hours. All bikes will be loaded on a CNC Bike Transport Truck and taken back to the start of the ride. Only two wheel upright traditional bikes are allowed.

After the Ride
End of Ride to Beginning of Eastern Option (Oct 11): $100 - This transportation option is primarily for those participating in the 3-day Eastern Option. This option provides you with the ability to leave your vehicle in the short term parking location at the start of the Eastern Option (an additional $15 parking fee is required to leave your vehicle), ride your bike for three days and then hop on a bus back to your vehicle at the end of the ride. This bus will depart at 5:00pm on Saturday, October 11. The estimated travel time is 3 to 3.5 hours. All bikes will be loaded on a CNC Bike Transport Truck and taken back to to the starting town for the Eastern Option.

End of Ride to Previous Town (Oct 11): $65 - This transportation option is primarily for those participating in the Last Day Only option. This option provides you with the ability to leave your vehicle in the short term parking location in the second to last town, ride your bike for the last day and then hop on a bus back to your vehicle at the end of the ride. This bus/van will depart at 5:00pm on Saturday, October 11. The estimated travel time is 1 hour. All bikes will be loaded on a CNC Bike Transport Truck and taken back to the second to last town.

End Town to Raleigh-Durham (Oct 12): $100 - This transportation option is available for those who parked their car in the long term parking location in Raleigh-Durham (an additional $25 parking fee is required to leave your vehicle) or those just needing to get back to the Raleigh-Durham area at the end of the ride. Departure will be on Sunday, October 12 at 8:00am from the end town. Travel time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.  All bikes will be loaded on a CNC Bike Transport Truck on Saturday after you have crossed the finish line.

End Town to Start Town (Oct 12): $150 - This transportation option is available for those who parked their car in the long term parking area at the beginning of the ride (an additional $25 parking fee is required to leave your vehicle). Departure will be on Sunday, October 12 at 8:00am from the end town. Travel time is approximately 6 hours plus a stop for lunch along the way.  All bikes will be loaded on a CNC Bike Transport Truck on Saturday after you have crossed the finish line. No trikes, recumbents or velomobiles are permitted.
