The 2020 Mountains to Coast Ride has been postponed to 2021. The ride will tentatively be held in October 2-9, 2021. Registration will open soon.

Route Information
All route mileages are subject to change as the Cycle NC Staff is constantly out on the routes in search of great rest stops, smooth roads, low traffic counts, construction free zones and unique towns. Routes are not final until the Cycle NC Staff make the last check one week prior to the event.  All cue sheets and maps will be emailed out to registered participants the Monday before the ride starts. 

Tentative Daily Mileages: 
Day 1:  Sparta to Mount Airy - 53 miles  (elev. +3960 ft)
Day 2:  Mount Airy to Reidsville - 74 miles  (elev. +4412 ft)
Day 3:  Reidsville to Roxboro - 55 miles  (elev. +2212 ft)
Day 4:  Roxboro to Henderson - 49 miles  (elev. +2151 ft)
Day 5:  Henderson to Smithfield - 65 or 100 miles  (elev. +2061 ft)
Day 6:  Smithfield to Clinton - 62 miles  (elev. +1071 ft)
Day 7:  Clinton to North Topsail Beach - 75 miles  (elev. +1021 ft)


Cue Sheets
The Cycle NC Cue sheets featuring turn by turn instructions and an overview map will be available electronically in PDF format. The links to the pdf files will be e-mailed directly to all registered participants to view and download prior to the start of the event. In addition to the cue sheets, road markings will be located at each turn along the routes.  

Bike Mechanics
If you find your bike needs some assistance during the ride, Trek of Greensboro will be at the start/finish and at various rest stops on each days routes to get you repaired and back on the road.

Support and Gear Vehicles (SAG)
All the routes are fully supported by CNC SAG vehicles to provide assistance to riders in need. If you need help, pull off the road and pat the top of your head and they will stop to assist you. Personal SAG's are not allowed on the routes at any time.
