All routes are subject to change as the Cycle NC Staff is constantly out on the routes in search of great rest stops, smooth roads, low traffic counts, construction free zones and unique towns. Routes are not final until the Cycle NC Staff make the last check one week prior to the event. All cue sheets and maps will be emailed to registered participants on the Monday before the ride starts.

Day 1: Sparta to Mount Airy - 55 miles (elev. +3412 ft)
Day 2: Mount Airy to Reidsville - 75 miles (elev. +4346 ft)
Day 3: Reidsville to Roxboro - 63 miles (elev. +3023 ft)
Day 4: Roxboro to Creedmoor/Butner - 58 miles (elev. +2854 ft)
Day 5: Creedmoor/Butner to Smithfield - 63 or 100 miles (elev. +2226 ft)
Day 6: Smithfield to Wallace - 71 miles (elev. +1075 ft)
Day 7: Wallace to North Topsail Beach - 67 miles (elev. +650 ft)
The Cycle NC cue sheets featuring turn by turn instructions and an overview map will be available electronically in PDF format. The links to the pdf files will be e-mailed directly to all registered participants to view and download prior to the start of the event. In addition to the cue sheets, road markings and directional signage will be located at each turn along the routes.
If your bike needs some assistance during the ride, our bike mechanics will be at the start/finish and at various rest stops on each days routes to get your bike repaired and back on the road.
Support and Gear Vehicles (SAG)
All the routes are fully supported by CNC SAG vehicles to provide assistance to riders in need. If you need help, pull off the road and pat the top of your head and they will stop to assist you. Personal SAG's are not allowed on the routes at any time.
