Routes & Format
The Mountain Ride is a loop ride event, with routes beginning and ending at the campsite in Marshall.  The event begins on Friday afternoon with a 15-20 mile warm up ride that is available from 1pm-5pm.  Once your legs are warmed up, you'll be all set to spend Saturday and Sunday meandering along the rivers and streams through the Blue Ridge Mountains on one of our various route options ranging from 10 miles to 70 miles.  The best part is that the routes begin and end from the same location, so there's no hassle of moving camp each day!

About Marshall
The Town of Marshall is nestled in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina on the banks of the French Broad River and is rich in history, scenery, outdoor activities and mountian culture.  Situated in Madison County, the area features picturesque cycling routes and outstanding hospitality from the locals.  In Historic Downtown Marshall, you'll find an historic county courthouse, old-time stores, art galleries, shops with unique home decore and gifts, restaurants cooking with produce from local farms, a Sunday afternoon farmers market on the island, and more!  Marshall is also becoming a ceter for artists.  Browse the galleries on the island (right at the campsite!) and downtown, go to classes, exhibits, shows and concerts, often centered on mountain culture.
