About the Routes
This year’s routes will showcase the beautiful landscapes that Western North Carolina has to offer - including the Thermal Belt Rail Trail that connects three towns in Rutherford County. The routes will explore this trail and many area attractions including historic sites, rivers, waterfalls and the Blue Ridge Mountains. From start to finish, the Mountain Ride routes are sure to keep you inspired and eager to return for more exploring.

Some routes may offer optional gravel sections for enhanced exploration

Friday's Route: Friday's route will be led by our route developer. The route leaves the campsite at 3pm and is a 17 mile warm up ride that features a stop at the Boston Lincoln Center. Elevation gain for this route is +1,271 ft.
Saturday's Route Options:
25 miles, 1,606 ft elevation gain, one rest stop
37 miles, 2,133 ft elevation gain, two rest stops
