DURHAM, North Carolina (March 4, 2026) – The BODYARMOR State Games High School Softball Showcase will take place June 23-24 at Haworth Field at Guilford College and Carolyn Allen Park. The High School Softball Showcase will feature the top 15 underclassman players from six North Carolina regions competing head-to-head for the gold, silver and bronze medals in front of college scouts. 

The coaches for each regional team have been selected and are listed below with the head coach listed first and their high school in parentheses:

Region 1 – Ricky Stallings (Perquimans), Greg Brown (Rocky Mount Academy)

Region 2 – Kenneth Monroe (New Bern), Greg Jenkins (East Duplin), Taylor Niemotka (Swansboro)

Region 3 – Alexandria Connelly (Green Level), Devan Daniel (Lee County), Jeff McPhail (Terry Sanford), Mark Whitman (Triton)

Region 4 – Jimmy Greene (West Rowan), Justin Davies (Hickory Ridge)

Region 5 – Amanda Hartley (West Davidson), Bradley Sawyer (Reagan)

Region 6 – Kevin Cruise (Kings Mountain), Casey Justice (South Caldwell), Morgan Blanton (Smoky Mountain)

The BODYARMOR State Games is gearing up for an action-packed year of competition in the Greensboro region. The BODYARMOR State Games begin on May 30th and conclude on June 28th, hosting competitions at venues throughout Greensboro and Guilford County. Registration is now open for most sports. Athletes can visit www.bodyarmorstategames.org to register to compete in North Carolina’s largest multi-sport event.
