DURHAM, North Carolina (March 4, 2026) – The BODYARMOR State Games High School Soccer Showcase will take place June 27-28, 2026 at Armfield Athletic Center at Guilford College. Some of the best boys and girls soccer players in the state will try out to represent their region at the High School Soccer Showcase. The Showcase features four boys teams and four girls teams comprised of rising Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors (Classes of 2027, 2028, & 2029).
The coaches for each regional team have been selected and are listed below with the head coach listed first and their high school in parentheses:
Girls West – River Hawkins (East Gaston), Jamie Lee (Burns), Darren Johnson (Mountain Island Charter)
Girls South – Kristin Bethard (Oak Grove), Emily Ramon (Asheboro), Matt Bramsway (Northern Guilford)
Girls North – Michael Atkinson (Enloe), Michael Grubstein (Green Level), James Horwath (Union Pines)
Girls East – Osvaldo Rivera (Heide Trask), Jonathan Goninan (Currituck County)

The BODYARMOR State Games of North Carolina is gearing up for an exciting year of competition in the Greensboro region. The BODYARMOR State Games begin on May 30th and conclude on June 28th, hosting competitions at venues throughout Greensboro and Guilford County. Registration is now open for most sports.
