DURHAM, North Carolina (March 24, 2026) – The BODYARMOR State Games High School Baseball Showcase will take place June 15-19, 2026 at First National Bank Field, Truist Point Stadium and UNC Greensboro. The High School Baseball Showcase will feature the best 20 underclassmen players from eight North Carolina Regions. Athletes will be competing in front of over 70 college and professional scouts as they vie for the gold, silver and bronze medals.

The coaches have been selected for each regional team and are listed below with their high school in parentheses and the head coach listed first:

Region 1 – Pat McRae (South Central), Willie Langley (Nash Central), Zach Alexander (Manteo) & Granville Gehris (First Flight)

Region 2 – Cam Sherrer (North Lenoir), Justin Carroll (Midway), Allen Thomas (C.B. Aycock) & Josh VanMeter (East Carteret)

Region 3 – Ty Norwood (Millbrook), Jason Knapp (Orange), Derek Bracey (West Johnston) & Adam Weaver (Corinth Holders)

Region 4 – David Reece (Triton), Sam Guy (Terry Sanford), Dalton Hardee (Lee Senior) & Blake Maxwell (South View)

Region 5 – Brent Haynes (Northwood), Kevin McIntosh (West Forsyth), Ryan Spencer (Trinity) & Adam Gunn (Southeast Alamance)

Region 6 – Jordan Sells (Hickory Ridge), Tommy Small (Porter Ridge), Sam Skinner (South Mecklenburg) & Chad Yow (West Stanly)

Region 7 – Jack Moss (Forbush), Joey Anderson (Davie County), Zach Little (South Iredell) & Jason Tucker (North Iredell)

Region 8 – Michael Staicar (AC Reynolds), Will Lindsey (Brevard), Wes Plemmons (Smoky Mountain) & Andy Runion (North Buncombe)

The BODYARMOR State Games of North Carolina is gearing up for an exciting year of competition in the Greensboro region. The BODYARMOR State Games begin on May 30th and conclude on June 28th, hosting competitions at venues throughout Greensboro and Guilford County. Registration is now open for most sports.
