DURHAM, North Carolina (February 17, 2025) – The BODYARMOR State Games High School Soccer Showcase will take place June 28-29, 2025 at Armfield Athletic Center at Guilford College. Some of the best boys and girls soccer players in the state will tryout to represent their region at the High School Soccer Showcase. The Showcase features four boys teams and four girls teams comprised of rising Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors (Classes of 2026, 2027, & 2028).
The coaches for each regional team have been selected and are listed below with the head coach listed first and their high school in parentheses:
Girls West – River Hawkins (East Gaston), Jamie Lee (Burns), Darren Johnson (Mountain Island Charter)
Girls South – Camden Brooks (Western Alamance), Jackson Brooks (Southeast Alamance)
Girls North – Eric Long (Athens Drive Magnet), Colin McDavid (Hoke County), Christian Cuba (Heritage)
Girls East – Savanna Elkins (Whiteville), Justin Jones (Laney), Lauren Wasilick (North Pitt)
Boys West – Mataus Diaz (West Iredell), Melissa Villars-Nitsche (Hendersonville), Tanner Blythe (Lincolnton), Juan Ceron (North Iredell)
Boys South – Nicholas Arroyo (Asheboro), Jimmy Walker (Southwestern Randolph), Victor Jacobo (Asheboro)
Boys North – Michael Pritchard (Cleveland), Alexis Garcia (Henderson Collegiate)
Boys East – Derek Yates (Northside), Joey McAlduff (JH Rose), Corey Faughnan (Jacksonville)

The BODYARMOR State Games of North Carolina is gearing up for an exciting year of competition in the Greensboro region. The BODYARMOR State Games begin on May 31st and conclude on June 29th, hosting competitions at venues throughout Greensboro and Guilford County. Registration is now open for most sports.
