DURHAM, North Carolina (February 12, 2025) – The BODYARMOR State Games High School Baseball Showcase will take place June 16-20, 2025 at UNCG Baseball Stadium and Truist Point. The High School Baseball Showcase will feature the best 20 underclassmen players from eight North Carolina Regions. Athletes will be competing in front of over 70 college and professional scouts as they vie for the gold, silver and bronze medals.

The coaches have been selected for each regional team and are listed below with their high school in parentheses and the head coach listed first:

Region 1 – Justin Roberson (Perquimans Co.), Pat McRae (South Central), Willie Langley (Nash Central) & Zach Alexander (Manteo)

Region 2 – Brandon Thigpen (East Duplin), Justin Carroll (Midway), Roy Jarman (Southwest Onslow) & Cam Sherrer (North Lenoir) 

Region 3 – Ty Norwood (Millbrook), Jason Knapp (Orange), Derek Bracey (West Johnston) & Dean Dease (Durham Academy)

Region 4 – David Reece (Triton), Sam Guy (Terry Sanford), Dalton Hardee (Lee Senior) & Blake Maxwell (South View)

Region 5 – Shane Worth (South Stokes), Jason Smith (Southern Alamance), Brent Haynes (Northwood) & Kevin McIntosh (West Forsyth)

Region 6 – Clint Koppe (East Mecklenburg), Jordan Sells (Hickory Ridge), Cheron Farley (SouthLake Christian) & Tommy Small (Porter Ridge)

Region 7 – Joey Anderson (Davie County), Caleb Henderson (West Iredell), Pete Hardee (Alexander Central) & Zach Little (South Iredell)

Region 8 – Zack Shepherd (Tuscola), Michael Staicar (AC Reynolds), Will Lindsey (Brevard) & Wes Plemmons (Smoky Mountain)

The BODYARMOR State Games of North Carolina is gearing up for an exciting year of competition in the Greensboro region. The BODYARMOR State Games begin on May 31st and conclude on June 29th, hosting competitions at venues throughout Greensboro and Guilford County. Registration is now open for most sports.
