DURHAM, North Carolina, December 12, 2024 – North Carolina’s largest multi-sport, amateur athletic sporting event will be moving to Greensboro in June of 2025.  The BODYARMOR State Games will host events in Greensboro and Guilford County as part of the month-long event.  The events will be held June 7 – June 29.

More than 11,000 athletes will have a chance to “go for the gold” in world-class venues throughout the Greensboro area. The Greensboro Complex will host Arm Wrestling, Karate, Pickleball, Power Lifting, Roller Derby, Strongman, Taekwondo and Wrestling.  Local colleges and universities will also host some of the events.  UNC Greensboro will play host to the High School Baseball and High School Softball tournaments.  The High School Soccer tournament and the Rugby tournament will be held at Guilford College.  NC A&T University will host the Track & Field competition.

The BODYARMOR State Games will be held in many other venues in the region, including: Bryan Park Truist Soccer Complex, Greensboro Sportsplex, Country Park, Hester Park, Jaycee Park, Carolyn S. Registration is open for the 2025 BODYARMOR State Games, which will offer twenty-three different sports. Roller Derby, Disc Dog and Beach Wrestling are joining the lineup for the first time in 2025, while the Games welcome back Inline Hockey after a multiple year hiatus.  The remaining sports include: Arm Wrestling, Baseball, Basketball, Disc Golf, Dock Dogs, Flag Football, Ice Hockey, Karate, Mountain Bike, Pickleball, Powerlifting, Roundnet (SpikeballTM),  Rugby, Soccer, Softball, Strongman, Taekwondo, Track & Field, and Wrestling.  Athletes can visit www.bodyarmorstategames.org to register for each event.
