DURHAM, North Carolina, February 12, 2026 – North Carolina’s largest multi-sport, amateur athletic sporting event is headed back to Greensboro, bringing a month of high-energy competition to Guilford County. The 2026 BODYARMOR State Games will take over the Greensboro area from May 30-June 28, welcoming more than 11,000 athletes to compete, connect, and celebrate the spirit of sport.
Athletes of all ages and skill levels will have a chance to “go for the gold” at premier venues across the Greensboro area. Guilford College will host High School Soccer, High School Softball, Rugby, and Taekwondo. The High School Baseball tournament will be played at top-tier facilities including First National Bank Stadium, UNC Greensboro, and Truist Point Stadium. One of the most anticipated events, Dock Dogs, is set to return to downtown Greensboro, where a huge pool will transform Elm Street into a splash-filled showcase of canine competition. The Greensboro Sportsplex will play host to Basketball, Roller Derby, and Inline Hockey, while Disc Golf and Disc Dog will be held at Keeley Park.
The BODYARMOR State Games will be held in many other venues in the region, including: Kathleen Price Bryan Family YMCA, Carolyn S. Allen Regional Park, Pinetop Neighborhood Resort, Forsyth Country Day School, Ivey Redmon Sports Complex, Kernersville Recreation and Event Center, and other area schools, parks and recreation facilities. Registration is open for the 2026 BODYARMOR State Games, which will offer twenty-four different sports. Dodgeball and Cornhole are joining the lineup for the first time in 2026. The remaining sports include: Arm Wrestling, Baseball, Basketball, Disc Dog, Disc Golf, Dock Dogs, Flag Football, Inline Hockey, Ice Hockey, Karate, Mountain Bike, Pickleball, Roller Derby, Rugby, Soccer, Softball, Taekwondo, Track & Field, Beach Wrestling, and Indoor Wrestling.
