BODYARMOR State Games High School Baseball Coaches Announced
Registration is open and tryouts are scheduled to begin!
DURHAM, North Carolina (March 17, 2023) – The BODYARMOR State Games High School Baseball Showcase will take place June 12-16, 2022 at Robert and Mariam Hayes Stadium at UNC Charlotte & Truist Field. The High School Baseball Showcase will feature the best 20 underclassmen players from eight North Carolina Regions. Athletes will be competing in front of over 80 college and professional scouts as they vie for the gold, silver and bronze medals.
The coaches have been selected for each regional team and are listed below with their high school in parentheses and the head coach listed first:
Region 1 – Justin Hill (Currituck), Cameron Ramsey (Rocky Mount Academy) Justin Roberson (Perquimans Co.) & Pat McRae (South Central)
Region 2 – Robert Kravitz (Arendell Parrott), Josh Shaffer (Croatan), Tomas Bowker (Hoggard) & Justin Carroll (Midway)
Region 3 – Adam Weaver (Corinth Holders), Carlos Varela (Wake Forest), Nate Logan (Middle Creek) & Bryan Tuck (Chapel Hill)
Region 4 – Jarrod Britt (Cape Fear), Jevon Wade (Lee County), Zach Bingham (Harnett Central) & David Reece (Triton)
Region 5 – Ryan Spencer (Trinity), Keith Walker (Glenn), Jason Smith (Southern Alamance) & Shane Worth (South Stokes)
Region 6 – Alex Leonhardt (Burns), John Markley (West Lincoln), Clint Koppe (East Mecklenburg) & Jordan Sells (Hickory Ridge)
Region 7 – Drew Ward (West Wilkes), Derrick Wishon (North Iredell), Jimmy Bowman (St. Stephens) & Bradley Rudisell (Bunker Hill)
Region 8 – Dylan Jones (Erwin), Todd Griffin (Enka), Zack Shepherd (Tuscola) & Michael Staicar (AC Reynolds)

The BODYARMOR State Games of North Carolina is gearing up for an exciting year of competition in the Charlotte area. The BODYARMOR State Games begin on June 3rd and conclude on June 25th, hosting competitions at venues throughout Charlotte, Concord, Davidson, Matthews, Mooresville, Cornelius, and Indian Trail.
