BODYARMOR State Games High School Softball Coaches Announced
Registration is open and tryouts have begun!
DURHAM, North Carolina (February 28, 2023) – The BODYARMOR State Games High School Softball Showcase will take place June 19-21 at Sue M. Daughtridge Stadium at UNC Charlotte and Frank Liske Park. The High School Softball Showcase pits the best 15 underclassman players from six North Carolina regions against each other to battle it out in front of college scouts for the gold, silver and bronze medals.
The coaches for each regional team have been selected and are listed below with the head coach listed first and their high school in parentheses:
Region 1 – Ricky Stallings (Perquimans), Greg Brown (Rocky Mount Academy)
Region 2 – Olivia Scott (Whiteville), Morgan King (New Brunswick)
Region 3 – Stephen Hales (Western Harnett), Alexandria Connelly (Green Level), Neil Smith (Scotland), Douglas Norman (Union Pines)
Region 4 – Justin Davies (Hickory Ridge), Amanda Jardina (Independence), Dean Mullinax (South Rowan), Ray Martinez (Cuthbertson)
Region 5 – Danny Way (Eastern Alamance), Mike Williams (Graham), Tina Way (Eastern Alamance), Scott Bell (Western Alamance), Dwayne Turner (Grimsley)
Region 6 – Greg Earl (Crest), Catriona Young (McDowell)

The BODYARMOR State Games of North Carolina is gearing up for an exciting year of competition in the Charlotte region. The BODYARMOR State Games begin on June 3rd and conclude on June 25th, hosting competitions at venues throughout Charlotte, Concord, Davidson, Matthews, Mooresville, Cornelius, and Indian Trail.
