In an effort to minimize wait times, we will be utilizing time slots for this year's Cycle NC Coastal Ride catered meal (included with your registration) being held on Saturday, April 29. Should you need to change your time slot after registering, you may do so pending availability by e-mailing us at cyclenc@ncsports.org. The deadline to change your time slot is on or before April 1.

2023 Coastal Ride Jerseys can be purchased during the registration process. The deadline to order is February 15th. All jerseys will be shipped to you prior to the ride so please make sure the address you enter when registering is your correct shipping address. Any additional t-shirts purchased will be picked up when you check-in at the 2023 Coastal Ride.

2023 Coastal Ride Refund & Cancellation Policy

A No Refund Policy is in effect for the 2023 Cycle NC Coastal Ride. All payments are non-refundable for any reason including but not limited to illness, medical emergency, pandemic, epidemic, a death in the family, severe weather, hurricane and mandatory evacuation. You have the option to purchase the Cycle NC Coastal Ride Trip Cancellation Protection should you have to cancel for any reason. Registrations may not be deferred, transferred or credited. No exceptions.

2023 Cycle NC Coastal Ride Cancellation Protection (Optional)

Cycle NC offers the option to purchase Trip Cancellation Protection for the 2023 Coastal Ride. The Trip Cancellation Protection covers all monetary purchases made at any time during the registration process but only covers expenses made directly to Cycle NC. It does not cover expenses such as flight reservations, car rentals, third party vendor services, etc. nor does it cover expenses paid for using credit from a previous Cycle NC event. It is only valid for the 2023 Cycle NC Coastal Ride and cannot be refunded or transferred to another participant.

The CNC Coastal Ride Trip Cancellation Protection may be purchased at the time of registration or added to an existing registration at a later date. If purchased during registration, CNC Coastal Ride Trip Cancellation Protection costs $50. If added to an existing registration at a later date, the CNC Coastal Ride Trip Cancellation Protection will cost $75.

If you purchase the Cancellation Protection and find yourself unable to attend the 2023 Coastal Ride for any reason, you have until 5pm on Friday, April 21st to send written notification of your need to cancel to the CNC office. Cancellation notifications can be e-mailed to cyclenc@ncsports.org. Jerseys and additional event shirts will only be refunded for those cancellation notifications received on or before February 15th. Jerseys and additional event shirts for those that cancel after February 15th will be sent to the address in your registration profile. All refunds will be issued in the form of a check and will be mailed no later than one month after the completion of the event. Refund will not include the money spent to purchase the Trip Cancellation Protection nor any handling fees or expenses paid for using credit from a previous Cycle NC event.

NCAS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization. Your contribution is tax deductible under the guidelines of the IRS. All donations assist with keeping registration fees as low as possible and with aiding us in carrying out our mission of promoting health and wellness for all ages and skill levels.

Waiver *

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in North Carolina Amateur Sports and Cycle North Carolina related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates and agrees that:

1. The risk of injury from the activities involved in Cycle North Carolina is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death; and,

2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releasees or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,

3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however I observe any unusual significant hazard during my participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest NCAS/Cycle North Carolina representative; and,

4. The risk to have contact with individuals, who have been exposed to and/or have been diagnosed with one or more communicable diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19 or other medical conditions, diseases, or maladies does exist, and it is impossible to eliminate the risk that I could be exposed to and/or become infected through contact with or close proximity with an individual with a communicable disease; and,

5. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby indemnify and hold harmless NCAS/Cycle North Carolina, their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, volunteers, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event; and,

6. I grant to North Carolina Amateur Sports my permission to use without charge any and all photographs, video reproductions or other like kinds of image productions taken during the event; and,

7. I understand that Cycle North Carolina and the Cycle North Carolina Staff are not responsible for loss, theft, or any damages to personal property which include, but not limited to bicycles, vehicles, tents, trailers, luggage, etc.; and,

8. In order to protect the health and safety of all participants, I understand and agree that Cycle North Carolina may determine that the event may be cancelled, postponed or terminated at any time with no refund and I may not be able to participate or complete the event.  There will be no refunds for bad weather situations, force majeure events, acts of God, etc.; and,  

9. I have read and agree to the Cycle NC Cancellation and Refund Policy; and,

10. I agree that I will not issue a credit card chargeback or funds reversal at any time.
