The Powerade State Games of North Carolina is a nonprofit organization that relies on volunteers to help organize and administer the State Games. Volunteers are needed in all areas: medical staff, office administration, data entry, ticket taking, merchandise sales, scorekeeping and timing at one of 27 events at more than 35 sites. State Games volunteers that work four hours or more receive a commemorative volunteer t-shirt and a goodie bag.
